As the winter home of the Blue Angels, the Navy Air Facility El Centro annual air show is the first show of their season, every year. Drawing a crowd of approximately 35,000, it is the largest single-day event in the Imperial Valley. Unlike other performances, this air show allows our sponsors unprecedented front row access to the show, with nothing between them and the performers.

The Naval Air Facility El Centro Air Show 2012 will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012. General admission and parking are free.

The objective of this event is to keep the public informed of our military services preparedness, demonstrate modern weapons systems, enhance community relations, and promote recruiting.

The Air Show features the Unites States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. NAF El Centro is the winter training home for the Blue Angels and their performance at El Centro occurs at the end of their training and marks the beginning of their show season.

In addition to the Blue Angels, there will be several other military flight demonstrations and civilian performances. There will also be a wide variety of field exhibits and hands-on displays will be available for the education and entertainment of air show attendees. Included among these are vintage as well as state-of-the air military static aircraft, historical displays and exhibits presented by military and aviation enthusiasts.
