Our Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport and our Opa Locka Executive Airport locations both offer a full complement of Cirrus aircraft, from the SR20 to the SR22 G3 Turbo Prespective. Both locations offer 24 hour a day availability to our checked out and approved customers. The Ft. Lauderdale location offers the Diamond DA42 for clients interested in the multi engine flight training. The DA42 is available for dual only rentals.

We have always been "full service" oriented. We offer the Bose, acitive noise canceling headsets, rafts for overwater flights and lifevests as standard equipment in all of our aircraft.

It is the pilot in commands responsibility to ensure that the aircraft you are flying is airworthy. Most aircraft rental facilities make the process of determining this difficult at best. All of Platinum Aviation’s aircraft are dispatched with an aircraft binder specific to the plane you are flying. Along with the keys to the aircraft, you will find anAirworthiness Checklistsigned by our FAA certified Airframe and powerplant mechanic, IA and copies of all of the supporting documents so you can rest assured that all required inspections have been done and that all Airworthiness Directives have been complied with. This is an excellent document for student pilots to use to learn what is required to ensure that an aircraft is airworthy.

Platinum Aviation Serviceis our own in-house, Cirrus Authorized Service Center. Since we are not dependent on anyone else for our aircraft maintenance you can count on having aircraft available and well maintained when you need them. In the event of a last minute squawk, our mechanics are ready to solve the problem and get you on your way.

In the Plane

We believe details count and we want to make your Cirrus Aircraft rental experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. In the baggage compartment of each aircraft is a bin with all of the essentials you may need, a fuel strainer (GATS Jar), spare oil, oil rags, a funnel, Plexus window cleaner, micro fiber cloths for cleaning the windows and damp hand wipes for cleaning up after the pre-flight.

The checklist, as provided by the aircraft manufacturer is located in the center console. These are replaced as they become worn. Also there you will find our flight log booklet for tracking your flight time and noting any squawks.

Each morning all of our aircraft are inspected by our staff to ensure that everything is correct and where it should be. All GPS and avionics databases are checked for currency and are updated on a regular schedule.
